Live Oak Canyon Website Accessibility Statement

Updated: October 2026

At Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch & Christmas Tree Farm, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible and usable for all visitors, regardless of ability or technology. We believe that everyone should be able to easily explore our seasonal farm attractions, hours, ticketing details, and event information.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

To provide a seamless digital experience, Live Oak Canyon strives to align its website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines outline best practices for making web content accessible to individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

We continuously monitor and improve the usability of LiveOakCanyon.com to ensure we meet or exceed these standards.

Digital Accessibility Features Implemented

Our website includes several features designed to improve user accessibility:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Core site navigation, interactive menus, and page elements are structured to be navigable using standard keyboard commands (Tab, Shift + Tab, Enter, and arrow keys).
  • Text Alternatives: Descriptive alternative text (alt tags) is added to key photos, maps, logos, and graphics across the site.
  • Readable Layout & Typography: High-contrast text and clear font choices are used to ensure legibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Form Accessibility: Online contact forms and newsletter signup fields are built with programmatic labels to support screen readers and assist navigation.
  • Responsive Design: Site layouts adapt gracefully to varying screen sizes and browser zoom levels without loss of functionality.

Ongoing Improvement & Known Limitations

While Live Oak Canyon works diligently to keep all content fully accessible, web accessibility is an ongoing effort. Because our farm host seasonal events, maps, ticket details, and photo galleries are regularly updated.

If you encounter a specific page, form, or document that is difficult to access or read, please let us know so we can address it promptly.

Know Before You Go: Farm Accessibility & ADA Information

At Live Oak Canyon Farm, we strive to welcome guests of all abilities to experience our Fall Harvest Festival and Christmas Tree Farm. Because our events take place on an authentic, working agricultural farm, terrain and conditions vary across our 100+ acres.
Review the details below to help ensure a smooth, comfortable visit for you and your group.

Accessible Parking

  • Designated ADA Spaces: Accessible parking spots are reserved near the main entrance gates on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Placard Requirement: A valid state-issued ADA parking placard or license plate must be clearly displayed upon arrival.
  • Arrival Tip: On high-traffic weekend days, we recommend arriving early in the day (near opening time) to secure parking closest to the main entry point.

Farm Terrain & Navigation

  • Outdoor Agricultural Surface: Live Oak Canyon is an outdoor working farm. Pathways consist primarily of unpaved, packed dirt, loose soil, wood chips, and gravel paths.
  • Wheelchairs & Strollers: Standard manual wheelchairs, all-terrain wheelchairs, heavy-duty strollers, and motorized mobility scooters can navigate most main farm thoroughfares under typical weather conditions.
  • Mobility Equipment Rentals: We do not offer wheelchairs, scooters, or strollers for rent on-site. Guests are encouraged to bring their own mobility equipment.
  • Attraction Accessibility:

    • Main Grounds & General Store: Level dirt pathways lead to vendors, the General Store, food courts, and photo backdrop areas.
    • Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch: Dirt paths inside the maze and patch can be uneven or dusty depending on weather and foot traffic.
    • Rides & Inflatables: Access to specific rides varies based on individual operator safety requirements, boarding transfer capabilities, and ride safety restraints.

Service Animals

  • ADA Service Animals Welcome: Trained service animals—specifically dogs and miniature horses individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities—are welcome in all public areas of the farm.
  • Pets Policy: For guest safety and the wellbeing of our 400+ petting zoo animals, emotional support animals (ESAs), comfort animals, and pet dogs are not permitted on farm grounds.
  • Petting Zoo Area Notice: For the safety of both our farm animals and your service animal, service dogs must remain under handler control on a leash or harness at all times and may be restricted from direct contact inside open-contact animal pens.

Accessible Restrooms

  • ADA Restroom Facilities: Accessible portable restrooms and handwashing stations are located throughout the central festival areas and near primary food courts.
